The Wella Professionals International Trend Vision Award

The 5th Wella Professionals International Trend Vision Award took place on the 28th October 2007, in Barcelona, Spain. Over 2500 guests from around the world attended the prestigious Award, watching 53 up-and-coming hairstylists compete for the winning title. The Wella Professionals International Trend Vision Award is the world final of the annual National Trend Vision Award - an artistic competition for young hairstylists, initiated and executed by Wella Professionals.

The Wella Professionals International Trend Vision Award was founded in 2003 as a part of the Trend Vision concept and is based on the trends for the current competition year. The four hair trends showcased by Wella Trend Vision have been identified by Wella Professionals in collaboration with global trend forecaster Carlin International. At the Wella Professionals International Trend Vision Award, hairstylists are given the creative freedom to interpret one of the four hair trends, using Wella Professionals products to create the look.

Following competitions at national level, the winners then go on to participate in the Wella Professionals International Trend Vision Award which is the only competition that has an international live final and is based on the ability of the hairdresser to interpret a new trend and create innovative styling, including make-up, clothing and accessories.
